How GorgeMaid Soaps Began

It started with a thought

A family-owned and operated business located in the beautiful pacific northwest in the Columbia Gorge area. My mother, Sandra, started this business at home in 2002. Later, in 2005, I partnered with her expanding our product line with other all-natural skincare products like our Body Lotion, Body Mists, Gardners Hand Salve for the working hands, and our Pet Shamoo and Bedding Spray. We joined the Vancouver Farmers Market and was a member until 2017. I became ill and was diagnosed with liver cancer. But OHSU took care of all that and not only the tumor is gone, but the liver is also regenerating. How great is that!

I became the owner of our business at the end of 2019 and now a member of The Gresham Saturday Market. You have also seen us at The Crystal Plum Bizarr, The Lady Bug, Christmas in the Gorge, Washougal High School, and among others. I am excited and looking forward to continuing on the legacy my Mother started. I invite you to join me watching me and the business grow while staying true to our commitment to handcrafting soaps and skincare products that are healthy for your skin while staying green.

We use all-natural, organic, sustainable ingredients with no animal bi-products so we are vegan friendly.
